The Odyssey! The Musical!

Tragedy is hilarious in this original musical comedy adaptation of Homer’s epic tale.

Equal parts tuneful, heart-wrenching, and absurd, The Odyssey! The Musical! reimagines a classic story for modern audiences. Odysseus’s efforts to return home face as many obstacles as Penelope’s efforts to maintain control on Ithaca. Along the way, The Odyssey! The Musical! plumbs the depths of love and loss, cunning and haplessness, and the foibles of human nature. At once parodic and sentimental, The Odyssey! The Musical! is an always gripping story about the winding journeys we take to find ourselves. 

Performed in two acts and featuring 20+ original songs, The Odyssey! The Musical! runs approximately 2 hours with intermission. The score features professional orchestrations by Matt Frank and Frank Galgano for a 12-piece ensemble.
